Week 1 Update

Hello everyone! 

Here is an updateof what the committees are working on this week!

Inter-ChapterRelations: As majority of you know the NW Fall Kickoff event is October 13^th. Kappa Xi had the highest in attendance last year, so we would like to keep that same enthusiasm and brotherhood up for this year! Brother Jaime Astorga, ICR head, will be organizing rides tothis event. As far as I know alumni are welcome to attend, so if you are interested in our carpool situation, Jaime will be more than happy to get you connected.

Service: Service head, Brother Becky Long and her committee are working on an event that pertains to the Taylor Bridge Fire; the date is not set yet.

Brotherhood:In honor of Founders Day, brotherhood head, Brother Chelsea Bronn and her committee will be organizing a Taco-themed potluck in Shaw-Smyser room 113 at 6:30 October 3rd. Alumni are more than welcome to attend.

Fundraising:Brother Bobbi Wyatt andher committee will be organizing two upcoming events. Saturday September 29^th they will be having a car wash! Theyare the best in the business so drive on thru and show some Kappa Xi support! Next event will be at Bleachers Sports Pub at 6:30! This will take place October 10^th.Kappa Xi chapter will receive 10% of total earnings that day. Come have a drink and socialize while helping out the chapter! The address is 730 East University Way
