Whether intentionally or accidentally, you have stumbled across the Kappa Xi Insider Blog! This site is primarily geared toward our alumni network, but all are welcome! On this site, you can expect to find weekly updates on the Kappa Xi activities and achievements as well as the most up-to-date event information available including initiations, professional events and pledge events.
Now, to introduce myself... My name is Blake Pipkin and I will be serving as the Kappa Xi VP of Alumni Relations for the 2012-2013 academic year and the primary manager of this blog. To tell you all a bit about myself, I am a junior at CWU this year and pursuing a degree in Exercise Science with minors in Business and Nutrition. I am an outgoing guy, I love my brothers, and I am really excited to be VPAR this year. Here of some of my main goals for the year:
- Personally meet 8 new alumni each quarter
- Keep alumni up-to-date weekly via this blog!
- Offer a variety of events, including social and professionally oriented events.
- Avoid spamming alumni emails
- Provide a minimum of 1 month notice for all major events
Hopefully these goals coincide with your expectations of me and my position. With your help, I am confident we can have an awesome year! I am dedicated to doing the best job I can this year, so please feel free to contact me with questions, ideas, concerns at any time.
